Welcome to Rapture

So the world is coming to an end tomorrow, huh? And with your last day here on Earth, I'm sure we've all decided it would be best to browse the internet. All your unnecessary possessions that you spent your whole life collecting will be gone. All of those peers who pressured you into doing things you wouldn't tell a priest about in a confessional will be gone. All of the sinful images you've collected and stored in your computer will be gone.

Eh... can't really say I see a downside to all of this.

Still nonetheless, with the rapture only hours away, we should make good use of this time and appreciate all the little things in life. Such as this clever link involving Pringles. Once you pop you can't stop, or in the case click. Got to hand it to the creators for making such a surefire way to get their viewers attention. With all the time spent clicking on this, you might wonder if you could have better spent it with your loved ones or playing on the PSN before it gets shut down again. Did you hear that? That was the sound of all the PS3 Black Ops players' hearts stopping for a second time this month.

Well go on and enjoy the time we have left! In the off chance the world doesn't end this weekend, you'll at least have an interesting story to tell your friends about how you spent your last few minutes alive, drinking yourself blind, running down your street stark naked, yelling profanities. But that's only in the 1/1,000,000,000 chance that the rapture doesn't come. After all, what are the odds that the guy who predicted the end of the world would be wrong twice?

  17. The world won't actually end, per se - just become unable to support the current human population.
We're a decade or two away from ecological collapse, and it's getting worse, not better.
So i don't think we need to worry about supernatural beings or zombies - humans are quite destructive enough !
